Dylan Foley
Founder / Managing Director
Dylan Foley is the founder and Managing Director of Jetscalator. Recognizing a need to assist limited mobility passengers, he envisioned and designed a portable lift device for aircraft cabin doors that would allow ease and utility for aircrews and passengers alike. The Jetscalator was born. With a talented team, he has spent the last three years developing, testing, and bringing Jetscalator to the aviation marketplace. Dylan is an actively flying pilot who holds and Airline Transport Pilot license with type ratings in the Challenger Series 601 and 604. He is also a commercial Helicopter and seaplane pilot. Dylan lives in Central Texas with his wife and two children and enjoys all things aviation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Derrick Hendrickson
Business Development
Derrick partnered with his longtime friend Dylan following his career in the military. Derrick is a former Marine and retired Coast Guard fixed-wing Naval Aviator, where he flew the HU-25 (Falcon 20) and HC-144 Ocean Sentry (Casa 235). He was a flight instructor/examiner having extensively flown search and rescue, counter-narcotics, and humanitarian missions. Derrick moved to Central Texas following a two and a half year post-military position as an advanced flight simulator and ground school instructor with CAE at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. He attended Texas A&M and Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Sciences. He is a graduate of Marine Corps Basic Training, Coast Guard Officer Candidate School, and U.S. Naval Flight Training. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot license with type ratings in the DA20 and C95.
